Regulation of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia
on Public Appraiser  Services
Regulation of the Ministry of Finance Number 125/PMK.01/2008 on Public Appraiser Services
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia shall have authority to give license to Appraiser to become Public Appraiser.
Public Appraiser License shall be classified in the field of:
a.    Property Appraisal; and/ or
b.    Business Appraisal.

An Appraiser shall submit written application to the Secretary General to the Department of Finance, for the attention of the Head of Center Accountants and Appraiser’s Services by complying with following conditions:
a.    Having domicile within the territory of Republic of Indonesia as evident from KTP (Citizen Identity Card)  or other evidence pursuant to the provision of legislation; 

b.    Having minimum education of Strata One (S1) or its equivalent, which shall be evidence from the certificate issued by the institution concerned; 

c.    Being a member of Profession Association, which shall be evident from the member card or statement issued by the institution concerned; 

d.   Having passed Appraiser Certification Examination (USP) pursuant to license classification submitted, which shall be proved with USP passing certificate;

e.    In the event that the USP passing date referred to in letter d has lapsed 2 (two) years period, the Appraiser shall deliver an evidence stating that he/she has attended Advanced Professional Education (PPL) at least 50 (fifty) PPL credit unit within the last 2 (two) years;

f.     Having work experience in the field of Appraisal that meets the license application classification which shall be evident from the statement issued by the Director or Partner Leader of KJPP certifying that he/she has been working for at least the last 3 (three) years for the applicant holding Certificate of Magister in the field of Appraisal;

g.    The work experience referred to in letter f shall be at least 600 (six hundred) hours as Appraisal and among others 200 (two hundred) hours as Team Leader;

h.    Possessing Master Number of Tax Payer (NPWP);

i.      Was never imposed with sanction of Public Appraiser license  revocation; and

j.      Making letter of application, filling in Public Appraiser license application form and using format as contained in the Attachment I to this Regulation of the Minister of finance.
